The owner of this small city garden has a busy professional life and wanted a garden in which she could relax and enjoy a tranquil atmosphere, without too much maintenance required. Designer Mary Anne Ellett has selected shade-loving plants to suit the site, creating a garden that feels private, but also offers interesting seasonal changes, softness, colour and tranquillity in what was previously a dry, sterile environment, thanks to the developer.
