Lucy Treep
In conjunction with Burgess and Treep Architects, and landscaper Ralf Krone, Lucy has been creating gardens in the greater Auckland area for fifteen years. An exponent of the value of strong design in the creation of long-lasting landscapes, Lucy draws on her architectural background to design a careful balance of hard landscaping and planting in response to the individual needs of each garden and gardener. Lucy has designed a wide variety of gardens and landscapes in the course of her career. She designed the heritage garden surrounding the prize-winning, recently restored McCahon House in Titirangi. At one end of the scale of her work are the coastal landscapes she has created on Auckland's west coast, and at the other, serene courtyard gardens tucked into the side of urban townhouses. In all her projects, Lucy enjoys working closely with her clients.
