2019 Garden 5 - Grey Lynn

After working with these clients on previous gardens, I had a good understanding of the look and feel we wanted this garden to have: creating their own piece of Eden in Grey Lynn, influenced by photos and ideas they had from holidays in Europe.

Restricted access impacted design decisions around levels and existing features. Creating a beautiful space for entertaining and relaxing was key for the design, using colour, formal hedges and traditional plants such as roses and hydrangeas. The large white Pergola is a stand-out piece in the garden creating broken shade on hot summer days.
